A Message from HPE CEO Antonio Neri
Hewlett Packard Enterprise strongly opposes the Department of Justice’s attempt to block the acquisition of Juniper Networks and believes its analysis is fundamentally flawed. A combined HPE and Juniper would drive greater competition and enhance innovation for customers in a segment that is fundamental to unlocking the power of AI for enterprises and our nation.
We will vigorously make our case in court through the litigation process, and I remain confident this deal will close because the facts are on our side. This transaction will positively change the dynamics in networking by enhancing competition and providing customers with greater innovation and choice. We also believe the combination fortifies the American “core tech” sector in which we operate, which is vital to American economic competitiveness and national security. And the extensive and overwhelmingly positive feedback we have heard from our customers and partners tells us they share that view. There is significant enthusiasm for the promise and potential of this deal, and we intend to meet that excitement by delivering unique and comprehensive solutions that our customers want and need through our combined portfolio.
Together with Juniper, we will be better positioned to provide customers of all sizes with a modern, secure network. Through this transaction and ongoing investments, we can drive faster innovation to benefit our customers and their expanding and increasingly complex connectivity needs.
